Founded in 2000, Saltire Motorsport is a high-level karting racing team that was founded by Duncan white. After years of racing himself, Duncan brought with him a wealth of racing knowledge as he began to mentor and coach a new breed of racers. Duncan himself raced from the age of 12 and in his career went on to achieve 2nd in the European championship, while achieving 5th in the World Championships. Over the years, Duncan & Saltire has developed a range of successful racing drivers including, David Coulthard, Peter Dumbreck, Marino Franchitti, Susie Wolff, Ross Wylie, Colin Noble to name a few.

At the start of 2020, Duncan White moved to a senior position within the team, promoting former driver and long-time mechanic/driver coach Martyn Morris to the role of team manager. Martyn has been involved in Saltire since 2005 starting in Rotax Max before moving to Iame Formula Blue. During Martyn’s time racing, he achieved some amazing results as a Saltire driver, including the 2012 British NKRA Championship and the 2013 British Open Championship. Martyn continued to race with Saltire before moving onto being a mechanic/driver coach ultimately leading to his promotion to Team Manager.
